Ordinance to be introduced and set for final hearing October 13, 2026, relating to Zoning and Planning Code, amending Chapter 59 of the Oklahoma City Municipal Code, 2020, amending Article III – Administrative Bodies and Officials, by amending Section 59-3300 – Historic Preservation Commission, 59-3300.3 – Membership, Terms and Organization, relating to procedure for Historic Preservation Commission membership; setting an effective date of March 24, 2027.

This introduces a proposed change to commission membership procedures. The September 15 journal sets an October 13 final hearing; it does not record adoption of the ordinance.

Clara Luper Center architectural contract amendment approved

Amendment No. 1 to Architectural Services Contract with Bockus Payne Associates Architects, Project M4-RF020, MAPS 4 Clara Luper Civil Rights Center, 2425 North Martin Luther King Avenue, fee increase of $326,000. Ward 7.

The amendment adds $326,000 to architectural services for the Clara Luper Civil Rights Center. It does not establish a new construction start or completion date.
